Hanahan is one of the smallest suburbs of Charleston, so you won’t find as many homes for sale - or as many options for shopping and restaurants. However, neighboring North Charleston, specifically Park Circle, is only a 5-10 minute drive and offers a mall, an outlet shopping center, and a wide selection of large chain restaurants and stores. Also, downtown Charleston is about a 25 minute drive, and the nearest beaches are about 40 minutes away.
